A beloved Gueliz institution, Le Mecano is an old-school bar-tapas decorated with vintage bicycles, motorbike models, and automotive parts -- including a camshaft repurposed as a beer tap. The atmosphere is warm, unpretentious, and draws a loyal crowd of expats and locals. Draft beer flows freely, the tapas are hearty, and Monday nights bring open karaoke. Live guitar on select evenings. One of the few licensed bars in Marrakech serving pork products. The kind of place where a 3-hour evening flies by.
